I come from Maine, my roots are by the coast. I grew up with a big fluffy Maine coon that followed me everywhere and was my all time best friend. If you’ve had a Maine coon, you know all about this. They are loyal, funny, loving, gentle giants that are somewhere between a dog and cat, they really are ‘their own thing’.
Five years ago, here in the mountains of Vermont, I started a small in home breed program. It took years to find the best of the best, Foundation stock, European show stock, American stock. Health, temperament and beauty combined is an all encompassing art. And an ongoing process.
It is very important to me not to just add to the cat population on this planet. I want rather to further the breed of Maine Coon, to create and continue a consciously developed healthy line of Maine Coon cats.
I believe we have developed(through years of hard work) the most beautiful, loving, wild-hearted gentle giants I now share here, with you.
